BACKGROUND
PURPOSE OF REQUEST
NYSDEC requires that the report be prepared by a qualified professional, which they define as: a professional engineer with 2 years of relevant experience; OR professional hydrologist or professional geologist with 2 years of relevant experience; OR bachelor's degree in hydrology or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience; OR associate degree in hydrology or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience. Proposals of the prime consultant along with a distinct outline of subconsultants will be required for Tompkins County to review. This project includes financial assistance from New York State; therefore, the firm that is selected must meet all applicable New York State program requirements.
