-        Horse Trailer (six horse) 2024 or newer - Less than 500 miles - Cimarron, Featherlite, Sundowner, Bloomer Horse Trailer or equivalent - Minimum 7?6? tall, 7?6? wide (draft size horse trailer: XL or XXL)-        Padded or rubber lined walls to prevent injury such as bumps and scrapes-        Padded stall dividers-        Slant load (reverse slant is okay)-        Drop down loading ramp with non-slip walking surface-        Minimum 10 drop down windows for ventilation-        Minimum six tie Rings for each stall inside and outside of trailer-        Minimum six saddle racks stalls in the tack room- 6 horse stalls -        Non-slip rubberized floor surface or matting on all horse walking surfaces to prevent slippage and absorb shock-        Must meet all DOT and industry requirements-        LED Interior and exterior user lighting -        Roof vents throughout to allow for adequate air circulation-        Escape door(s) to allow emergency access to the horse compartment-        Secure double latches that are strong and easy to use to all exterior doors to horse compartments-        Secure flooring with appropriate weight bearing floors to support 2000lb horses-        Appropriate suspension system to absorb road shock and reduce stress on horses-        Hydraulic/ electric jack (for landing gear and hitch) with manual jack capabilities-        Electronic breaking or hydraulic surge brakes, with safety breakaway-        Design that enables ease of cleaning interior and exterior surfaces-        Frame made of steel -        Aluminum shell -        All undercarriage surfaces treated with corrosion prevention-        Minimum of E load range tires-        Minimum 20 year Lifespan -        Minimum of 3 year manufacturer warranty-        Maintenance manual included -        Manufacturer must have a minimum of 20 years experience producing horse trailers and use readily available and easy to find and purchase parts for repair (COTS parts)-        Authorized Service department within 100 mile radius from zip code 22211 (Fort Myer, VA) -        5 year Service plan included-        Two spare tires included -        Gooseneck pull with adjustable hitch height-        Double axle DELIVERY to FORT MYER, VA NLT 15 days after award
