Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Chittenden Keywords: Construction (Non Building), General Contractor, Storm Water System Design Bid Description: The Burlington School District invites interested Sitework Contractors to submit a Request for Proposal for their upcoming Stormwater Enhancements and Baseball Field Renovation Project. Project Scope: The project consists of excavating and restoring the existing infield of the baseball field and backfilling with sand and clay to better mediate water removal from the fields. The project will also include enhancements to the stormwater outfall to meet ADA compliance. Landscaping will be installed throughout this area to provide a “park like” atmosphere. Contractors need to follow the contract documents and Instruction to Bidders for the work as needed at the school. The project start date is June 2026 to be completed by August 2026. This project is being funded through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) which will require contractors to follow Davis Bacon requirements. This project is subject to Build America, Buy America (BABA).
