NOTICE OF SINGLE SOURCE TO THE PUBLIC
Shelby County Government has identified a single source purchase for the goods/services as
listed below. This notice is not a request for bid, proposal, or qualifications.
Single Source – TRANSMISSION DIAGNOSTIC, REPAIR, AND
REBUILD SERVICES.
The identified vendor will:
1. Provide full-service transmission repairs, replacements, and rebuilds for Shelby County
fleet vehicles.
2. Perform inspections, diagnostics, and testing of transmission systems.
3. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and warranty requirements.
4. Supply OEM or equivalent replacement parts as needed.
5. Maintain warranty on all previous parts and services for 24 months from original repair
date.
Procurement Timing/Deadlines:
1. Vendor must provide a written estimate within 48 hours of vehicle delivery.
2. Provide timely turnaround service once estimate is approved by Fleet Services.
If you have the capacity/expertise and are interested in providing the Goods or Services detailed
above please submit a letter of interest as well as your pricing (total & details) via email to
sherry.money@shelbycountytn.gov..
In accordance with Shelby County’s Purchasing policy, notice of single source will be posted on
the County’s website for seven (7) days prior to award.
Notice expires on August 12, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
