NOTICE OF SINGLE SOURCE TO THE PUBLIC
Shelby County Government has identified a single source purchase for the goods/services as
listed below. This notice is not a request for bid, proposal, or qualifications.
Single Source - Joint funding Agreement with U.S. Geological Survey
Lower Mississippi-Gulf Water Science Center
The identified vendor will:
Collection of stream gauge data including equipment and upgrades to existing USGS river
gauge stations-
1. Collection of stage and precipitation data at Loosahatchie River at Singleton Parkway
near Bartlett, Wolf River near Collierville, Fletcher Creek at Sycamore View Road near
Memphis, Nonconnah Creek near Germantown and Nonconnah Creek at Ferrisview
Road near Memphis.
2. Maintenance and upgrades to USGS gauges
3. Publication of data on USGS website
Procurement Timing/Deadlines:
1. Services to be rendered by July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
If you have the capacity/expertise and are interested in providing the Goods or Services detailed
above please submit a letter of interest as well as your pricing (total & details) via email to
sherry.money@shelbycountytn.gov..
In accordance with Shelby County's Purchasing policy, notice of single source will be posted on
the County's website for seven (7) days prior to award.
Notice expires on August 26, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
