NOTICE OF SINGLE SOURCE TO THE PUBLIC
Shelby County Government has identified a single source purchase for the goods/services as
listed below. This notice is not a request for bid, proposal, or qualifications.
Single Source - DSX and ExacqVision Replacement
The identified vendor will replace the currently deployed DSX Access Systems Version 5.1.16
for security doors and gates at 980 Nixon Drive Memphis, TN 38134 and the doors at 157 Poplar
Avenue Suite 137 Memphis, TN 38103. The vendor will also replace the separate ExacqVision
Version 21.09.5.0 system currently used to manage all Shelby County Election Commission
interior and exterior security cameras at 980 Nixon Drive Memphis, TN 38134 and 157 Poplar
Avenue Suite 137 Memphis, TN 38103 with the current version of Kantech ACS.
1. Provide and install all new Kantech ACS for all existing and new doors at SCEC. Include
the installation of the following parts.
a. (2) Kantech KT-16DNE6 16 door unified enclosures for (4) 4 door controllers
b. (8) Kantech EK-4-MTSG expansion kits that include (4) power supplies
c. (8) 12V Batteries for back up
2. Provide labor to setup the NEW ACS on the server and provide training to SCEC
designated personnel that whave access to the system.Provide license and head end
equipment to move access control system and security camera for DSX and ExacqVision
over to Kantech.
3. 2020 National Electrical Code standard for all wiring.
Procurement Timing/Deadlines:
1. Services to be delivered by June 30, 2026.

In accordance with Shelby County's Purchasing policy, notice of single source will be posted on
the County's website for seven (7) business days prior to award.
Notice expires on June 29, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
