NOTICE OF SINGLE SOURCE TO THE PUBLIC
Shelby County Government has identified a single source purchase for the goods/services as
listed below. This notice is not a request for bid, proposal, or qualifications.
Single Source – CDC Grant to Strengthen Public Health Initiatives
The identified vendor will:
1. Be knowledgeable in data science, subject matter expertise, with solid evidence aligned
with community needs according to CDC guidelines.
2. Be knowledgeable in integrating diverse expertise to create comprehensive strategies and
programs that address complex public health challenges.
3. Ability to use data science and workforce development expertise to analyze trends,
predict needs, and enable proactive decisions for improving the infrastructure, workforce
and Data Systems of the Shelby County Health Department.
4. Ability to evaluate to assess program effectiveness and ensure ongoing enhancements to
public health initiatives.
5. Provide quarterly training sessions and assist with public health accreditation to meet
public health standards.
Procurement Timing/Deadlines:
1. Services to be delivered by November 30, 2026
2. Services to be rendered for the period of December 1, 2025 to November 30, 2026

In accordance with Shelby County’s Purchasing policy, notice of single source will be posted on
the County’s website for seven (7) days prior to award.
Notice expires on April 22, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
