NOTICE TO BIDDERS – SINGLE PRIME CONTRACT BID

PARTIAL RENOVATION OF PORTAGE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

SEALED Bids will be received by the Portage County Commissioners for all necessary

labor and materials for the renovation of the: Portage County Administration

Building, located at 449 S. Meridian St., Ravenna, OH 44266 (Project Site).

Bid Opening will be held at Portage County Internal Services, 449 S. Meridian Street

(entrance off Chestnut), Ravenna, Ohio at 2:00 pm, E.S.T., on Wednesday November

13th, 2024 and at that time will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The work will consist of partial renovation of the 1st floor, 5th floor, and 7th floor per scope

of services and construction phasing as defined in the provided bid documents.

A Pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the Administration building (Project Site) on

October 29th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. E.S.T.

Bid Package #1 – General Trades Contract

$900,000.00

The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates

established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio in accordance

with all provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Ohio, ORC Sections

4115.03 and 4115.16 and related requirements.

Portage County has the rights to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive

any irregularities in the form of the bid that do not affect or destroy competitive bidding.
