SINGLE FEASIBLE SOURCE (SFS) MODOT-FY25-0134-SL: Universal Testing Machine

The Missouri Department of Transportation has determined that only one source, Instron Corporation, can provide the department with upgrades to the 200,000-pound universal testing machine (UTM) by providing a new servo control, data-acquisition, and signal conditioning electronics and hydraulic power supply (IP-XH03). The upgrades include installing a controller box. The UTM uses software developed and designed by Instron for use in their controller boxes. The contract period will be from Notice of Award through one year. MoDOT will receive bids electronically, mail, UPS or FEDEX. It is required to contact the buyer of record at Nanci.Grannemann@modot.mo.gov five business days before bid closing if you intend to submit a hard copy bid.
