Sinch Next Generation 911 Ingress

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) intends to extend an agreement with Sinch dba Inteliquent, Inc, for up to 36 months, for Next Generation 911 Ingress services. These services allow for 911 traffic routed by originating service providers (OSPs, telephone companies) to the state’s NG911 points of interconnection (POIs).

DPS has determined that this is a single source because Sinch is the current 911 ingress service provider and remains in the process of migrating OSP traffic to 911 POIs as contracted for in 2020. Changing to a different vendor at this time would require restarting and redoing the migration process for all POIs in the State.
