Signalized Intersection Battery Backup Citywide

General work description:

The purpose of this solicitation is to enter into a contract with responsive and responsible bidder to provide construction services to install battery backup systems to traffic signals at various locations in the City of South San Francisco as per the specifications and requirements outlined within the solicitation documents.

The City of South San Francisco (SSF) is soliciting bids for a contract to provide SSF with traffic signal battery back-up systems and external cabinets, including battery modules and inverters (BBS).

SSF is requesting BBS that can be installed in existing traffic signal cabinets or enclosures.

It is anticipated that this solicitation will result in a single contract award.

This solicitation is issued in accordance with the City of South San Francisco Procurement Code and applicable administrative rules. If any provisions of this solicitation conflict with the Code or rules, the Code or rules will take precedence.

The documents included within this solicitation are designed to provide interested bidders with sufficient information to enable the bidder to determine if they can provide materials and services as per the outlined requirements.

Bidders must provide sufficient documentation/information to demonstrate compliance with the stated specifications/requirements.

NOTICE: Bidders must submit detailed product specification sheets demonstrating compliance with the Scope of Work specifications/requirements.

Bidders may be requested to submit samples to confirm conformity with Scope of Work specifications/requirements. Bidders are not to submit samples until requested to do so.
