SIGA Provision of Courier Services

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) seeks to engage one qualified and experienced firm to provide courier services as described in the tender document in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter. The successful Bidder (the “Courier Supplier”) shall provide courier services for SIGA’s central office, central office warehouse, and its seven (7) casino sites, as required.

SIGA would be looking to retain the successful bidder for a period of two (2) years with three (3) annual renewal options.

• All bid submissions must be sent by email only.
• The courier services must be performed exclusively by the Courier Supplier. The Courier Supplier may not delegate, assign or subcontract any of the Courier Supplier’s obligations to any other person, firm or corporation without prior written approval of SIGA.
• The Courier Supplier will be fully responsible for the coordination and performance of the sub-contracts; any and all errors or omissions of the sub-contractors will be deemed to be those of the Courier Supplier.
• The Courier Supplier shall set up effective and user-friendly online reporting and communication models for SIGA, including reports that can be accessed, sorted by site, by item, by date, by month, by year, etc.
• The Courier Supplier shall set up convenient, efficient, and user-friendly online tracking system for both letters and parcels.
• The Courier Supplier shall provide a user-friendly online dispatch system, which allows for printing of labels and waybills.
• The Courier Supplier shall provide all required shipping supplies, including but not limited to envelopes, shipping bags, labels, waybills, printers, and any related materials, and shall clearly identify and include all applicable costs.
• All drivers responsible for providing courier services must be properly bonded.
• The courier services will be provided on an as-needed basis.
• Shared cargo transportation for envelopes and parcels is acceptable.
• Any packages or envelopes stored overnight for next-day delivery must be kept in a secure and controlled storage area.
