| Description: | Sidewalks are inspected for compliance with Chapter Sec. 40-8. - Snow, ice and debris removal, of the City of La Crosse Municipal Code. The contractor will remove snow and ice from non-compliant City sidewalks, clearing to bare pavement, as directed by the City of La Crosse Engineering Department. Often this requires removing several inches of accumulated packed snow and/or ice. The contractor will document with digital pictures the parcel, before and after clearing sidewalk. The contractor will need to use judgment and work closely with a City representative. The contractor is responsible to measure, track, and report location and footage cleared. The amount and timing of sidewalks cleared under this contract will be weather dependent. |
