Sidewalk Repair Program

The City of Bristol, Connecticut is seeking bids for curbing and sidewalk repairs and other related work at various locations throughout the City, for the period through December 31, 2025.

Each bid shall be in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Bristol Purchasing Department, identified as “2C25-061 Sidewalk Repair Program", accompanied by a Bid Bond issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut, in the amount of 10% of the bidders base bid amount.

Firms submitting bids must be pre-qualified with the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (“DAS”) to perform concrete and/or site work and shall include with their bid a copy of a current certificate as issued by DAS. Additionally, any contractor or subcontractor performing any work on this contract must be pre-qualified with DAS to perform said services and shall include with their bid a copy of a current certificate as issued by DAS.

The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut.

The Contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
