25·03 2025 SIDEWALK PROGRAM

**The City of Sidney recently transitioned to electronic bidding as the required form of bid submission....

Bids will be received by the City of Sidney electronically through Bid Express until 2:30 p.m. (EST) on

Thursday, February 13, 2025, after which time they will be electronically opened and read.

Plans, Specifications, and bid forms will be available through the Bid Express website at

www.bidexpress.com. All electronic bidders must register with Bid Express in order to submit a bid

(please allow time for processing). Registration with Bid Express is free. Contractors and/or

Subcontractors can view and download information free of charge. In order to submit an electronic bid,

the bidder will need to pay a per bid fee or a monthly subscription fee for unlimited bids. We encourage

bidders to familiarize themselves with the Bid Express service in advance.

If the bidder experiences difficulties with the electronic bidding service, please contact the Bid Express

support team (1-888-352-2439, M-F 7am-8pm EST or support@bidexpress.com) at least 72 hours prior

to the bid opening .

The project will consist of the removal and replacement of 4" and 6" concrete sidewalk and drive

appr.oaches, replacement of curb, and seeding and mulching.

Any and all questions regarding the referenced project must be submitted through the Bid Express

website no later than Monday, February 10,2025 at 1:00 p.m. (EST). Questions submitted outside of Bid

Express will not be answered.

The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the

Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The

City of Sidney reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to award the

::~d~O;:tl1e best interest of the City of Sidney.
