2025 Sidewalk Infill Program Project No. 25-06-01
Sealed bids will be received at the Administration Department, Blue Springs City Hall, 903 W. Main Street, Blue Springs, Missouri 64015 until 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project is tentatively scheduled to be awarded on Monday, August 18, 2025.
The Scope of Work includes: 150 LF curb, 17 ADA ramps, 17,600 SF sidewalk, 1,035 LF sidewalk with integral wall, 510 LF soil fill wedge, and site restoration.

Bid packages will be distributed electronically at no cost to the bidder. When requesting the documents, you will be required to provide your company name, a contact person and phone number, a complete company address, and an email address to be added to the Plan Holders List, and for receiving official bidding communications and addenda. If you are not on the Plan Holders List, you will not receive any addenda issued. Hard copies will not be available for purchase. Bidders may make copies of the bid documents at their own expense. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount payable to the CITY OF BLUE SPRINGS must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Wage rates paid on construction work for this project shall be at least equal to the
Division of Labor Standards of the State of Missouri.
The City of Blue Springs, Missouri reserves the right to award the contract by sections, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. The City of Blue Springs hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids without discrimination, regardless of race, color, or national origin in consideration for any award. All bidders are also notified that as a condition for contract award documentation proving “their enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program” such as E-verify must be submitted to the City. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
