Shop Slab and Site Concrete Project - Bonner Springs, KS

Purpose.

This project will construct the floor, driveways, sidewalks and parking lot for a new Vehicle Storage Building (VSB) between the current water treatment plant (12301 Kaw Drive) and the Public Works Center (12401 Kaw Drive). The project consists of construction of a 150’ x 80’ 8- inches thick concrete reinforced slab with a concrete floor for a 50’ x 15’ attached lean-to, Concrete footings, piers, driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots. The chosen contractor will be responsible for proving all materials, forms, excavation, earthwork, and labor to build the slabs, footings, and piers for the construction of the building. All concrete work shall utilize KCMMB 4K concrete unless otherwise noted. Slab concrete shall meet or exceed the requirements specified in the plans. The metal building is scheduled to be erected in the fall of 2025.

Submission Deadline.

Interested contractors shall submit one (1) sealed copy of their Bid Form and (1) separately sealed Bid Bond to: City Clerk, City of Bonner Springs, P.O. Box 38, 200 East Third Street, Bonner Springs, KS 66012. All bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope: “Shop Slab and Site Concrete Project”. Bids must be received no later than the above time.
