Overview
Summary

The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested Shearwater equipment for the Police Department , in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.

The equipment is a hands-free display dive computer that projects essential information into the diver's mask, such as remaining oxygen levels and depth. By doing so, it reduces the risk of entanglement and minimizes the chances of a diver running out of air. Since much of the diving takes place in zero or low visibility, traditional gauges are often difficult to read. With this system, the data is projected clearly into the diver's field of view, making critical information more accessible and significantly lowering the risk of an out-of-air situation.
