Shaded play space and ADA picnic area at Wingfoot Lake State Park

Amendment to include instalation in the price and remove the alternate.

Name or Title of the Service or Supply: Materials and installation to create a shaded play space and ADA picnic area located on a current concrete slab. This area currently measures 60’ x 30’. Pieces will be installed by the Division of Parks and Watercraft Construction team.

Specifications: Wingfoot Lake State Park is looking to purchase a shade structure (61’x31’) to cover a current concrete slab.  Half of the shaded area will be for playground equipment designed to be accessible, inclusive, and sensory focused (ages 2-12). In an adjoining area we would like to create a picnic area that includes ADA tables and accessible trash receptacles. Installation of sunshade and all playground and picnic equipment will be completed by Contractor D N R s t a f f .
An alternate will be considered to include the addition of a poured rubber surface to enhance park guest experience and create a fun and safe environment for imagination and play.  If this alternate is selected, installation will be completed by the awarded supplier.

Alternate 1: Overlaying of concrete slab with approx. 1 ½” of poured rubber surface. If selected, this covering must be installed by awarded supplier.  May be awarded if budget allows.
