2026 Shade Tree Maintenance

Project Description: Specifications and Bid Documents are available at no cost on PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
There will not be a Pre-Bid Meeting. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Don Anderson, Public Works Director, via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com no later than seven (7) days prior to the due date for receipt of bids.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Borough of West Chester in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner.
Proposals may be withdrawn, altered or otherwise modified within PennBid at any time prior to the due date and time. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.
A contract may be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. The Borough of West Chester reserves the right to reject any, and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
