50 SFS requires an Apptricity Enterprise Asset and Inventory Management v7x system to be used to enhance the ability to track and maintain accountability of its assets. A required inventory management system that is AFNET approved / RFID Air Force Approved Warehouse and Armory Management System that can advance weapons/gear issues and turn in for Security Forces daily operations. A system that provides immediate inventory reports, warehouse layout management, and real time issues and turn in reports that will eliminate the need for hardcopy paperwork. This innovative system will streamline Custodial Inventory Report accountability, individual inventory management for daily issues and turn in, and warehouse management for item location and availability. This warehouse management system will also save the 50 SFS thousands of dollars in file management paperwork annually, as well as hundreds of man-hours for hands on warehouse management. Finally, this system would eliminate human error and streamline arming and de-arming Security Forces personnel by greater than 50 percent while ensuring accountability for daily and contingency weapon systems utilized for Installation Base Defense.
