SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES
ADVERTISEMENT
The Town of Hamilton is soliciting quotes for catch basin and drain line cleaning per MGL Chapter 30,
Section 39M. Emailed quotes are acceptable if all the necessary attachments are signed and included. This
is a solicitation for quotes and there will be no formal quote opening.
All quotes for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including G.L.
c.30 Section 39M as amended. The contract will be awarded to the contractor deemed by the awarding
authority to be the lowest responsible and eligible bidder.
All quotes are due no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 6th, 2026 at the Hamilton Town Clerk
Office, 650 Asbury Street, Hamilton, MA 01982 or by email at tolson@hamiltonma.gov.
The successful contractor must furnish a labor and materials payment bond in an amount equal to 50
percent of the total contract price.
All contractors must supply the Town with an insurance certificate and workmen's compensation policy,
if applicable.
All crew members must be OSHA 10 certified.
All contractors must abide by all contract terms associated with the attached contract.
All contractors must sign Attachment A, D, and E with their quote.
Quotes must be submitted on the QUOTE FORM included. Please feel free to contact me at 978-626-

The Town will reject quotes when required to do so by the above referenced General Laws. The Town
reserves the right to waive any informality, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all quotes, or
take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
The quote package may be obtained: via email at: tolson@hamiltonma.gov through Timothy Olson at the
Town of Hamilton Department of Public Works during regular business hours: Monday through Thursday
8am to 4:30pm, Friday 8am to 12:30pm.
Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Commissioner of Labor
and Workforce Development and the weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions
of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 through 27D inclusive.
The contractor agrees that its quote shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days,
Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded.
