Sewer Rehabilitations

In accordance with M.G.L. c30 §39M, the City of Watertown is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform SEWER REHABILITATIONS in the CIP PROJECT 3 AND 4 AREAS. Qualified contractors are requested to submit proposals in accordance with the Instructions within this Invitation for Bids (IFB).

This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). Bid Forms and Contract documents are available free online at Projectdog.com website at 12 PM on Thursday April 30, 2026. All plan holders must register or have an active online account on www.Projectdog.com to acquire documents, receive project notifications, and to submit bids electronically. Enter Project Code 874487 in the project locator box and select “Acquire Documents” to download documents.

Bid Deadline: Tuesday May 19, 2026, 10:00 AM. Hand delivered bids will not be accepted.

The estimated value of this contract is $5,138,000.

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, or certified check, and/or a treasurer’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. The City of Watertown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as determined to be in the best interest of the City.
