Sealed BIDS will be received until 10:00 AM prevailing time on August 14, 2026 and opened and read aloud publicly at 10:01 A.M. prevailing time on August 14, 2026 at the City of Pontiac City Hall at 115 W. Howard St. Pontiac, Illinois 61764 for the 2026 Sewer Lining Project furnishing of all materials, equipment and labor necessary for the cured-in- place full-length lining of approximately 8,195 lineal feet of 8-inch, 885 lineal feet of 10- inch, and 172 lineal feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer, the reinstatement of 175 taps and installation of Approx. 21 “Shorty” T-liners. All of the sewers under these projects belong to the City of Pontiac.
Each BID must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the City of Pontiac in the amount of five percent of the total amount of the BID. The Bid Bond of the three lowest bidders for the CONTRACT will be held until receipt of a signed CONTRACT and CONTRACT BOND. All other BID BONDS will be returned after comparison of the BIDS.
A CONTRACT BOND in the total amount of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the City will be required for the faithful performance of the CONTRACT.
The BID forms and plans may be examined and copies obtained at the office of the City Administrator located at 115 W. Howard Street Pontiac, Illinois 61764. There is a $50.00 non-refundable charge for the documents.
All bidders are required to provide current financial and experience statements or other pre- qualification documents to show satisfactory evidence of the bidder’s competency to perform the proposed work prior to award of CONTRACT.
The award for the CONTRACT will be made to the lowest qualified bidder.
