224-002 Sessom Creek Bank Stabilization and Wastewater Replacement-Phase 2 IFB

The City of San Marcos issoliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:

Solicitation Number: IFB224-002 Sessom Creek Bank Stabilization and Wastewater Replacement-Phase 2

Scope of Project: Includes butis not limited to installation of approximately 1,183 LF of 12” and 8”wastewater line, approximately 3,000 CF of channel excavation associated withnatural creek restoration, the removal of Loquat Street and the repaving ofCanyon Road within the project limits. The estimated annual construction cost forthis project, including bid alternative one (1) is $2,150,844.

Bidders must submit acashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid inthe amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conferencewill be held on November 26, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access tovideo conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov atleast 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.

Bids must bereceived in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St.,San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than December 19, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time,and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Teams meeting link is included in solicitation.

Award is scheduled for the February 4, 2025, City Council meetingat 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
