Bid Attributes
1 Overview
Iowa State IT Services seeks Supplier to provide staff augmentation for projects and services across a variety of
ServiceNow modules. Work may entail implementation of new modules, providing general guidance, or development
of custom solutions to address Iowa State needs.
Supplier will be asked to provide proposals to address the specific needs, along with costs, and Iowa State
University will choose a partner to complete the work. This RFP will be awarded to multiple suppliers and no one
supplier will be considered primary over another.
Awardees are expected to adhere to all Iowa State practices and procedures when working in Iowa State
ServiceNow tenants. This includes, but is not limited to, change management, development standards, and
architectural standards. Failure to adhere to defined standards may result in contract cancellation. Awardees are
expected to provide detailed documentation for all efforts completed as part of a staff augmentation engagement.
The initial term of the Agreements awarded is expected to be three years. Rates provided in the initial term, may be
renegotiated at the end of each year of the term. The agreement may be extended for two additional one-year
terms for a total length of 5 years, at the end of the initial term.
2 Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation of this RFP/RFQ may be based upon, but not limited to:
Ability to meet required specification
Quality of references and/or past experience
Availability of support
Ease of use/Process to request project or staffing support
Total cost for Iowa State University based on rate card
Exceptions taken to RFP Terms and conditions
Read and understood

3 Iowa State is not guaranteeing any amount of annual spend to Awardees.
Although not guaranteed, Iowa State anticipates an average annual spend of $100,000 - $200,000

4 As part of the evaluation process, Iowa State may request a virtual presentation at no cost to the
University.

6 Staffing Profile
A partner must have ServiceNow certified technicians/engineers involved in any augmentation of staff. Provide a
profile including, degrees, training, years of experience, etc. of specific staff members that, if you were awarded,
would be involved on the project with ISU.

7 Module Expertise
Provide a description of the modules your company can provide to ISU including, but not limited to the following
areas in ServiceNow: CMDB, ITSM (minimum requirement), ITOM, CSDM, SPM, FSM. Familiarity with one or more of
theses areas is required.

8 Process and Timeline
Describe the process to be utilized in fulfilling the requirements of this RFP and an explanation of how the Company
would anticipate working with ISU. Include a proposed sequence of events and timeline necessary to acquire
knowledge about Iowa State University's policies and procedures and the needs of the University.

9 A partner must be able to implement or develop solutions without requiring Iowa State to purchase
additional ServiceNow modules beyond what may already be considered in scope by Iowa State.
It can be recommended as a best practice or means to save money, but cannot be a requirement.
