Description

The service contract is to provide ongoing support for Mideo CaseWorks system performance. This shall include system upgrades, access to a support team for user questions or workflow needs, and software defects or malfunctions. The contract shall cover needed repairs and upkeep to include product updates, parts, labor, associated travel, planned maintenance, and unlimited phone and internet-based remote support. The service contract shall cover a one-year period of time and be renewable after that time in accordance with Iowa purchasing regulations. The contract must offer original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts and be able to be installed by specialty trained personnel. Third party vendor or refurbished parts will not be accepted. The successful vendor must have access to, and be able to offer the State of Iowa, both OEM parts and competent trained repair personnel. Please email quotes to Andrew Pries, pries@dps.state.ia.us

Mideo CaseWorks is a software application configured for image management and visual documentation of case evidence within the forensic lab, and it is used in comparative science applications. Caseworks is integrated with the LIMS database and includes detailed auditing for all photo related records, including enhancement, access, and output. CaseWorks unifies all sections of the lab under one image management database platform while still having the ability to share information with LIMS.
