Service: Annual Maintenance of Flood Assets

The MTA NYCT PM will schedule all work with the Contractor and coordinate access to MTA premises. MTA NYCT PM retains the sole discretion to identify each annual inspection and deployment as Full Day (9am to 5pm), or Weekend/Evening price schedule. The Contractor shall provide training for MTA NYCT at no additional cost. The Contractor shall provide all supplies and tools to perform the maintenance which includes deployment of the Scope of Work (see below):

i.Take existing photos for the report.

ii.Remove pedestrian railing.

iii.Remove all protective covers and exposed hidden device.

iv.Vacuum all exposed areas behind covers.

v.Power Wash under step prior to deployment.

vi.Inspect all clamp bars and threaded connections – clean as required.

vii.Install anti-seize into the threaded connectors.

viii.Lubricate all movable parts.

ix.Deploy device.

x.Review all gaskets.

xi.Vacuum storage container.

xii.Power Wash storage container and clear drain.

xiii.Retract gate.

xiv.Deploy device and wash/clean Flexible Barrier Bottom Side.

xv.Wash Flexible Barrier Top side.

xvi.Power Dry Flexible Barrier.

xvii.Close all covers.
