Service Agreement for Hamilton Starlet equipment

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) intends to continue a service support agreement, including optional verification services, with Hamilton Company for Microlab® platforms (STAR™, NIMBUS®, and VANTAGE®). Hamilton Company is the sole source provider for replacement parts, proprietary software upgrades, factory-trained and authorized service representatives, service agreements, and escalation support for these systems. The service includes priority dispatch for contract customers, a target response time of 24 hours for down instruments, a guaranteed response time of 48 hours, a guaranteed callback time of 4 hours, and coverage of parts, travel, and labor, with the option to add verification services for the Hamilton STARlet equipment.

This procurement is deemed a single source due to the proprietary nature of the equipment and services, as well as warranty and service agreement requirements that exclude coverage for damage, repairs, or increased service time resulting from third-party consumables, unauthorized software, or non-Hamilton service providers.
