City of Fort Smith, Arkansas
Separate sealed bids for 2017 SSA Remedial Measures Sub-Basin MC06, Project No. 19-15-C1, will be received by the City of Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the Office of the Director of Water Utilities until 9:30 a.m. (CST), Thursday, October 9th, 2025 and then publicly opened and read aloud in Room 206. Bids shall be addressed “City of Fort Smith Water Utilities, 801 Carnall Avenue, Suite 500, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901” and shall be labeled bid for 2017 SSA Remedial Measures Sub-Basin MC06, Project No. 19-15-C1. Bidders are to include their Arkansas License number on the outside of their sealed bid. Bids shall only be received from registered Bidders.
An OPTIONAL pre-bid will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2025, at said Room 206 at 10:00 a.m (CST).
This project includes the rehabilitation or reconstruction of approximately 17,900 LF of existing sanitary sewer lines, including replacement and rehabilitation manholes and service lines, within Sub-basin MC06 as shown on the plans. The rehabilitation methods include pipe bursting, open-cut, and cured-in-place pipe (CIPP).

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments, and considered by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board to be classified as a General Contractor for the classification required to perform the work identified as part of the project.
This publication was paid for by the City of Fort Smith Water Utilities at the cost of $364.24.
The City of Fort Smith encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, either as a general contractor or subcontractor.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
