Senior Snow Removal

The City of Aurora, through its Senior and Disability Services Division, is seeking qualified contractors to provide professional snow removal and ice control services for the city’s Operation Senior Shovel Program.

This program is designed to support eligible senior citizens and individuals with disabilities by ensuring safe, accessible residential entryways during the winter season.

Services will include, but are not limited to, timely and effective snow removal and ice control on residential driveways, sidewalks, and front walkways across various locations city-wide. Contractors are expected to have the capacity to respond during inclement weather events, maintain service quality standards, and demonstrate sensitivity to the unique needs of this vulnerable population.

The goal of this ITB is to establish a reliable and compassionate partnership that enhances the safety, mobility, and independence of Aurora’s older adults and residents with disabilities throughout the winter months.
