Pursuant to Section 287.057, Florida Statutes (F.S.), Florida Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) seeks Replies to this Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified vendors (Respondents) for the purpose of operating the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). SCSEP’s mission is to provide job training to Florida residents who are age 55 and older, have limited financial resources, are unemployed, and have low prospects for employment. The ultimate goal of SCSEP is to enhance their skills, transition them into unsubsidized employment, foster individual economic self-sufficiency and provide valuable community service.
