The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required for 2 inch asphaltic concrete overlay on 5.7 miles of Senator Highway from Upper Sky Terrace to the end of pavement. The project includes approximately 13,087 tons of asphaltic concrete overlay with PG 64-22 binder. Other associated work includes removal and disposal of 17,906 linear feet of existing guardrail and reinstallation of 15,300 linear feet of new guardrail with 70 new guardrail end treatments, installation of 2 concrete catch basins, full depth removal and replacement of 6,667 square yards of failing pavement sections, installation of 3 mailbox pullouts with concrete pads for cluster mailbox units, removal and reinstallation of 209 linear feet of embankment curb, and re-establishing existing pavement markings throughout the project. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents.
There has been a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2025, hosted by Yavapai County Public Works through an online virtual meeting portal. Detailed meeting instructions will be included in the contract documents. Any questions or concerns about the project will be addressed at that time.
