Semi Tractor with custom interior

Project Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to solicit responses to enter into a contract with a qualified vendor to obtain the products and/or services listed for Salt Lake Community College. After reviewing the submitted responses, the College may choose not to proceed with the procurement.
Salt Lake Community College is looking for a NEW Semi Tractor with the interior set up to accommodate additional passengers. This unit will be used as a Driver’s training vehicle. Our preference is a 2025 Freightliner New Cascadia PT126SLP, Customized for training new drivers. Class 8 Tractor with a Detroit Diesel 15L engine with a manual transmission.
While our preference is a Freightliner, all bids will be reviewed to see if they will fit the needs of the college. ALL quoted tractors MUST have a manual transmission. Any quotes with automatic transmissions will be disqualified. We will evaluate each bid to make sure the specs meet the needs of the college, Delivery Date and interior modification costs may be part of our evaluation.
Each quote must include 3 matching captain chairs and the cost for the required interior modifications on separate line items. If you are using alternate brands or part numbers, please provide specs of the quoted parts so we can verify that they meet or exceed our expectations.
