The City of Lake Oswego, Oregon, a Certified Local Government by the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), is seeking proposals from an interested consultant to conduct a selective historic Reconnaissance Level Survey and final report of portions of the McVey-South Shore and Hallinan Heights Neighborhoods.

Submitters must demonstrate they have the ability to conduct this work within the budget and timelines prescribed in the scope of work outlined in this RFP. It is imperative that the final products are consistent with the most recent publication of the “Guidelines for Historic Resource Surveys in Oregon,” prepared by the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). This project is supported in part by grant funding from the SHPO and National Park Service (NPS).

RFP Amendments / Proposal Submittal

  • Questions or comments regarding the RFP should be directed to planning-rfp-bids@lakeoswego.city . Questions must be received via email by Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
  • RFP Amendments: Any amendments to the RFP will be posted to the City’s Bid & RFP webpage not less than 7 days prior to the date for submission of proposals. Persons/firms that are registered on the planholder’s list for this project will be sent an email notice of any RFP amendment. Persons/firms are responsible for checking the City’s Bid & RFP webpage for this project to verify that the proposer has received all RFP amendments prior to submission. No proposal will be considered if it is not responsive to any issued RFP amendments.

Proposals must be received by 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 22, 2025, in accordance with the directions provided in the RFP.
