Selective Demolition at Cooperative Cultural Center

Project Description: Town of Bluff invites qualified Contractors to submit bids for selective demolition at the Cooperative
Cultural Center, located at 630 E Black Locust Avenue, Bluff, Utah 84512. The building, originally
constructed in the early 1950s as Bluff Elementary, added onto and remodeled several times, is being
repurposed as a community and civic center. This project aims to prepare the site for renovations.
The facility is approximately 20,000 square feet single-story structure originally built in the 1950s as a K-
12 school and remodeled several times. Construction Documents (Attachment B) outline the scope of
services which include selective interior demolition, removal of designated structures and debris, site
stabilization, dust/noise mitigation, and safe site restoration. All demolition referenced in the
Construction Documents is included in this project with the following exceptions: window demolition,
sidewalks and ramps, and select sinks. The optional walk-through on April 17, 2026 at 1:00pm MDT will
be held after the asbestos mitigated plan has been confirmed to determine the final scope of work. All
asbestos will be removed or mitigated by a certified asbestos mitigator prior to demolition work
commencing.
