Seeking Sources for Portable All-Mode Containers

DLA is seeking sources who can manufacture portable all mode shipping and storage containers. The containers are shown in the attached document. The containers can be shipped by various modes of transport including LHS flat-rack, Helicopter, or HMMWV. They can be used to securely transport material to and from various environments, including 2 containers that can carry water. The containers are flame resistant, air-droppable, weather resistant, and reusable.

Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, DLA is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to conduct market research to identify parties interested and capable of supporting requirements for these MulePac (Portable All-Mode Container) Tactical Shipping and Storage Containers. The requirements are sole sourced to AIRGO Industries, Inc. (CAGE: 1Y4M7).

DLA Troop Support is researching the possibility of issuing a new solicitation for the required items under a Requirements type contract or increasing the value of its current contract for these items.  If a new award is made, the resultant award would not exceed a period of five (5) years.

This Sources Sought Notices is issued solely for information and planning purposes and is not a solicitation or a Request for Proposal (RFP).  This notice is not a commitment by DLA Troop Support for any purpose.  Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary.  The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred.  The Government will NOT pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this Sources Sought Notice.  If a solicitation would result, it would be synopsized on the “Contract Opportunities” website at SAM.gov and it would be the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the Contract Opportunities website for any such notices.
