The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking potential sources to provide a flat washer. The washer will work in conjunction with a lock screw on a small adjustable spanner wrench. This requirement is for materials only and no service(s) will be required.

At a minimum the flat washer will meet the following specifications and guidance.

• DO NOT MARK ON PIECE.

• WASHER SHALL COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS OF MIL-DTL-19595D. (CONTACT)


• PASSIVATE AS PER EITHER ASTM A967 OR SAE AMS-2700.


• MATERIAL: CRES, SAE AMS-QQ-S-763, CLASS 310, CONDITION A

AMS-QQ-S-763: A federal specification for stainless steel bars, wire, shapes, and forgings

Grade 310: A medium carbon austenitic stainless steel

Condition A: A specification for the material of the bar
