The purpose of this announcement is to solicit statements of interest, capabilities, and rough orders of magnitude (cost estimates) from businesses interested in and capable of providing the following supplies:

Honeywell Speed Sensors

MFG P/N: 727636-01

ESTIMATED QTY: 499 each

At ths time, the FAA is not aware that commercially available equal items exist from other manufacturers that meet the same salient characteristics (same form, fit, and function). If other equal items do exist and are recommended, please include the manufacturer’s specification sheet with your response.

At this time the procurement strategy and nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program.

The FAA’s only known vendor capable of supplying these items is FDH Electronics (SAM UEI: EWR1ZRQ2Q6E9). If no responses are received from this announcement, the FAA intends to proceed with a single source procurement strategy to this vendor. As such, interested vendors are encouraged to respond to this announcement to make their interest known to the FAA.

Responses to this announcement will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense.

The FAA requests interested vendors to include the following with their response:

1. Statement of Interest - This information should identify:

a. Your company’s System for Award Management (SAM.gov) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)

b. Statement of interest to provide a competitive quote for the items needed.

c. Links to your company’s website or other public posting of prices.

d. Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) or budgetary estimate for these items.

e. Manufacturer’s specification sheet if proposing a similar item containing same salient characteristics.

All responses to this market survey must be received by 4:00 p.m. Central Time (Oklahoma Time) on June 23rd, 2025.
