The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SUPERINTENDENT) is seeking qualified VENDORS to provide on-
site, unarmed security officer services at various school sites throughout San Bernardino County. Services will include
full-time, regularly scheduled daily duties as well as on-call assignments. Security officers will be required to patrol
both the interior and exterior areas of school facilities. Services are expected to begin on July 1, 2026.
All proposals must be submitted to the Front Desk Receptionist at the address listed above. They should be clearly
marked on the outside of the envelope in the lower left corner with: “RFP ENCLOSED: RFP NO. 25.26.0920 – SECURITY
SERVICES – MANNED (UNARMED).” Unsealed, faxed, or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
It is the sole responsibility of the VENDOR to ensure the timely delivery of their proposal to the Front Desk Receptionist,
where it will be date and time-stamped. Proposals shall remain open, valid, and subject to acceptance for ninety
(90) days following the RFP opening date and time.
RFP documents and any issued addenda may be obtained at: https://www.sbcss.net/business/business-support-
services/procurement-and-warehouse-services/bids-upcoming. It is the responsibility of the VENDOR to monitor the
website for updates or addenda prior to submission.
All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing via email to: Maria Aldaco, Procurement Specialist at
Bids@sbcss.net. All questions must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
UNSEALED, FAXED, OR EMAILED SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
