The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a secure, user-friendly secure video-communication platform designed to streamline appointment scheduling, enhance client engagement, and improve access to care. This platform will support County employees, healthcare providers, and community members—especially individuals in remote or underserved areas—by enabling real-time appointment booking, secure virtual meetings, and engagement tools such as automated reminders and educational resources.
The solution must be HIPAA-compliant, easy to navigate, and tailored to meet the specific needs of the San Mateo County Human Services Agency (HSA), Employment Services division. The goal is to create a virtual environment that supports confidential, convenient, and effective interactions between staff and clients, ensuring equitable access to services and promoting overall well-being within the community.
The Human Services Agency’s Employment Services division provides a wide array of support programs designed to assist individuals in achieving economic stability and self-sufficiency.
