SYNOPSIS

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a solicitation for the second Rolling Admissions to SeaPort Next Generation (NxG). The Government anticipates releasing the Request for Proposal (RFP) in the second quarter of fiscal year 2024. It is anticipated that the solication number will be N00178-24-R-7000.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Divison, on behalf of the Naval Sea Systems Command and its Navy SYSCOM partners NAVAIR, NAVWAR, NAVFAC, NAVSUP, ONR and USMC, will conduct a competition to award Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity Contracts (MAC IDIQ) to allow SeaPort NxG MAC holders to compete for future task order awards in SeaPort NxG.

The NAICS code for this procurement is 541330 and the revenue size standard for Small Business is $47M.

Proposal submission and evaluation criteria for the Rolling Admissions RFP will be similar if not identical to the first Rolling Admissions solicitation (N00178-21-R-7000).

Oral proposals will not be conducted. Awards will be made on initial offers without discussions. The solicitation will be issued electronically via https://www.sam.gov and interested parties must comply with that announcement. SAM.gov is the single point of entry for posting of the synopsis and solicitation to the internet. Interested parties should monitor SAM.gov for the release of the solicitation, and any applicable amendments. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at https://www.sam.gov

INDUSTRY DAY BRIEFS/QUESTIONS/COMMENTS

No in-person Industry Days are currently planned for this Rolling Admissions. The Government may post Industry Day-like presentation to SAM.gov. Questions and Answers will not be provided in SAM.gov until the RFP release.

Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to provide feedback or respond with respect to any information submitted or questions asked prior to the RFP release. Industry is also reminded that it is the formal solicitation that will govern any official acquisition. Interest vendors are encouraged to download the last solicitation N00178-21-R-7000, found on SAM.gov, to familiarize themselves with the requirements and process.

Formal communication will be provided on SAM.gov as the anticipated release date approaches.
