PUBLIC FERRY CROSSING SERVICES

The Warren County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed proposals for the opera on, management,

and maintenance of a public ferry crossing service.

Proposals will be received by the Warren County Purchasing Department, located at 913 Jackson

Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183, un l 10:00 am on Friday, May 1, 2026, at which me all proposals will be

publicly opened and recorded.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure a qualiﬁed contractor to provide safe,

reliable, and con nuous ferry transporta on services for passengers across the Yazoo Diversion Canal

at Kings Point Road crossing within Warren County.

Interested par es may obtain a complete copy of the RFP speciﬁca ons from the Warren County

Purchasing Department at the address listed above or by contac ng the Purchasing Agent at

victoriab@warrencountyms.gov or 601.638.7428.

All proposals must be submi ed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked:

“RFP – Public Ferry Crossing Services.”

Proposers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Mississippi Code

Annotated §31-7-13.

The Warren County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive

informali es, and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
