Sealed bids to pave approximately 6.37 miles of county roads

Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids to pave approximately 6.37 miles of county roads. For specifications and more information contact Allen Hulme at ahulme@elbertga.us or (706) 283-2000.

The County will receive bids until 4:00pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at which time bids will be opened at the following address: Elbert County Board of Commissioners, 45 Forest Avenue, Elberton, Georgia 30635. Bids received after that time and date will not be considered. Bids must be sealed in an envelope and the words “A sealed bid” must appear on the outside of the envelope. Faxed or e-mailed bids cannot be accepted. Bids will be awarded at 5:30pm on Monday February 10, 2025 at the above address.

All Bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlements (SAVE) program and the federal eVerify program.

The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in conformity with these instructions, and the County reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or the anticipated purchase.
