Sealed bids from licensed contractors for construction of improvements to three (3) existing lift stations.
City of McGehee, Arkansas, will be received by Mayor Jeff Owyoung at 901 Holly Street McGehee, Arkansas 71654 until 2:00 pm on February 19, 2026 and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of work consists of removing and replacing submersible pumps, plumbing and electrical at Three (3) Existing Lift Stations. Plans and Specifications may be examined at 319 West Oak Street El Dorado, Arkansas 71730 and obtained ($100.00 cost per hard copy obtained; PDF copy will be free) at www.alfranksengineering.com . All perspective bidders shall obtain a copy of the book no later than two working days prior to bid opening date. No refunds will be made.
A CERTIFIED OR CASHIER’S CHECK, or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of McGehee, Arkansas and furnish bonds on the forms provided.
Bidders as well as all subcontractors that may be acquired or used are expected to have an active Unique Entity Identifier Number through www.sam.gov the day of bid opening.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
