Sealed bids from licensed contractors for construction of the asphalt overlay of the Woodberry Park Walking Trail, consisting of approximately 1,925 Square Yards, in Calhoun County, Arkansas, will be received by the Honorable Floyd Nutt, County Judge at Calhoun County Courthouse at 309 West Main Street, Hampton, Arkansas 71744 until 1:00 p.m. (local time) on April 8, 2025 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The scope of work consists of a 1.5-inch asphalt overlay for the existing walking trail. Mixing, transportation, and temperature limitations for hot-mix surface coarse materials shall be in accordance with the requirements of Division 400, Asphalt Pavements of the AHTD Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Latest Edition. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the bid proposal for materials and installation.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
