ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of the Highway 235 Water Main Relocation (ARDOT Job No. 090642) to serve the Town of Pyatt will be received at the offices of Pyatt Town Hall, located at 156 E. Bradford St., Pyatt, Arkansas 72672 until 11:00 a.m. local time on November 4th, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the following:
• Approximately 1,600 L.F of 4” Diameter PVC Water Main.
• All necessary gate valves, hydrants, directional boring, split encasement, open-cut encasement for highway crossings, driveway crossings, connection to existing water mains, and all related accessories.
• This is both a “Build America Buy America” project and an “American Iron and Steel” project and must meet all requirements of both the Buy America Build America Act and the American Iron and Steel Act.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 S. Old Missouri Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72765. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained online at engineeringservices.com through QuestCDN upon payment of $40 for each set or at the office of Engineering Services, Inc. located at 1207 S. Old Missouri Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72765 upon payment of $150 for each set.
Each Bidder must comply with the requirements, terms, and conditions of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission, the Disadvantaged, Minority and Women Business Enterprise (DBE/MBE/WBE) requirements, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (Public Law 113-76) including the “American Iron and Steel (AIS)” requirement, “Build America Buy America Act (BABA)” requirements, Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity, and the “Prohibition on certain telecommunication and video surveillance services or equipment provisions” during the performance of this contract. The Bidder commits itself to the requirements for participation contained herein and all other requirements, terms, and conditions of these bid conditions by submitting a properly signed Bid.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
