Sealed bids for Elkins Van Hoose Tank Valve Vault Improvements, to be constructed for City of Elkins will be received at the office of the City of Elkins and addressed to 1874 Stokenbury Rd, Elkins, AR 72727, until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 1874 Stokenbury Rd, Elkins, AR 72727. Each bidder shall be limited to three personnel per organization.

The Project consists of constructing a new below-grade valve vault, installing an above-ground reduced pressure zone assembly (RPZA) in a heated enclosure, and demolishing the existing vault.

The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner.
The City of Elkins reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Elkins, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids.
