NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BEACON, WIND CONE & TAXILANE UPGRADES
Sealed bids for contract for BEACON, WIND CONE & TAXILANE UPGRADES will be received by
Poplarville-Pearl River County Airport Authority in the office of Shows, Dearman and Waits, Inc. at 301
Second Avenue, Hattiesburg, MS 39401, until 10:00AM Local Time on the 7th day of May , 2026
(the "Bid Deadline"), at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A pre-bid conference will be held April 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Airport Board Room. Bidders
must be qualified under Mississippi Law and have a Certificate of Responsibility when appropriate.
Official bid documents may be obtained from www.sd-wprojects.com . All plan holders are required to
have a valid email address for registration. Electronic bids can be submitted in person or electronically at
www.sd-wprojects.com. For any questions relating to website registration, online orders, or the electronic
bidding process, please call Plan House Printing at 601-336-6378. All bids must be accompanied by bid
security equal to 5% of the amount of the bid, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond
written by a company properly licensed in Mississippi.
Bids must be submitted on the standard form of bid proposal, and the successful bidder will be required to
execute the standard form of contract and agreement, together with a 100% performance bond and a 100%
payment bond, within fifteen (15) days after formal award of the contract.
Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, marked and addressed as follows:

The AIRPORT OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason at any time prior to
execution of the Agreement; to waive any and all informalities in the bidding process; and to hold all bids
for examination for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days.
