Sealed Bids: 2025 Custodial Services

LEGAL NOTICE

Sealed bids will be received in the Office of the Mayor, City of North Ridgeville, 7307 Avon

Belden Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039 until 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2025 and

will be opened immediately thereafter for:

CUSTODIAL SERVICES

Bidders are required to use the bid forms, which are available along with the bid specifications,

from the Office of the Mayor, City Hall, 7307 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039.

Checks shall be made payable to the City of North Ridgeville at a non-refundable cost of

twenty-five dollars ($25.00). Electronic copies of the bid forms and specifications will be

available upon request once proof of payment has been received.

All bidders are required to attend a guided walk-through of all areas to be serviced on

Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. beginning at North Ridgeville City Hall, Office of the

Mayor. Non-attending bidders will be disqualified.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, made payable to the City of North

Ridgeville, equal to 10% of the bid amount as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract

will be entered into and performed. Certified checks accompanying rejected bids will be

returned upon the award of the contract.

Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all

persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences in providing

similar services and of similar complexity.

Sealed bids must be marked on the front of the envelope: “Custodial Services.”

The contract shall be in effect for a period of one (1) year from January 1, 2026 until December

31, 2026 and may be extended for two additional one-year terms upon agreement of both

parties. Contractor shall provide thirty (30) days written notice to the city prior to the

expiration of the initial term of their desire to extend the contract for an additional year.

The City of North Ridgeville, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any

variations in the specifications and to accept the lowest and best bid determined.
